Patta and Nike have been pulling out all the stops this year, launching a handful of exciting drops. Now, they are giving us the chance to design our own, using their hybrid Air Max 90/95 as a canvas.
Patta and Nike collaborations deserve your attention. When the Swoosh teams up with the legendary Dutch retailer, grails are created. Earlier this year, the shop teased a project with the footwear giant before later revealing it to be a Friends & Family exclusive. Their canvas was the Nike Air Span II, a cult classic running sneaker from the early 90’s. Needless to say, Nike heads went wild looking for information about a possible release. After no such luck, the pair instead debuted some slightly newer options, including a hybrid Air Max 90/95. This release got even more attention than before, prompting the pair to re-release the mashup silhouette in a more consumer-friendly method.
Next week, Patta and Nike fans will be able to customize their very own hybrid Air Max 90/95. The project is based on a website that will allow users to pick between Air Max 90 and 95 uppers and soles, mashing them up and creating their own unique color scheme in the process. So far, some of the color and blocking options appear limited, though they are likely saving some surprises for when the site goes live.
The new Patta x Nike By You project will launch on November 26th, 2018, exclusively from nikebyyou.nike.com/patta. Options for customization will be wide, so it is currently unclear if prices will vary or be set in stone.
