Parley For The Oceans, a non-profit aimed towards cleaning the oceans and providing renewable solutions to the waste that ends up there, is back with another adidas collaboration. This time, the two will turn plastic into an adidas Ultra Boost Mid.

The adidas Ultra Boost Mid has been an explosive force the last two years. Debuting as a Ronnie Fieg collaboration for his Aspen pop-up shop, the silhouette has seen multiple Consortium iterations since it was conceptualized. Now, the team at Parley has been spinning ocean plastic into wearable knit material in preparation for their mid silhouette. The Parley process involves removing large amounts of plastic and fishing net from the ocean, softening and adjusting the chemical base, and turning it into a yarn that can be used to make adidas Primeknit. Previous adidas x Parley shoes have included the Ultra Boost, EQT ADV, and adiZero Prime. The Ultra Boost Mid will come in a clean white colorway, highlighted by the turquoise strands of plastic that line the heel cup.

No release information has been confirmed for the adidas x Parley Ultra Boost Mid yet, but they are expected to drop in February 2018 with a price of $220. Check out the rendering of the shoe below, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for future updates.
