Way back in 2016, Parley and adidas released their first Recycled Ocean Plastic sneaker. Now, the pair is returning to their first canvas, the Ultra Boost Uncaged, with an updated color palette for a much sleeker look.
Parley and adidas first formed their partnership in 2016. Born from the drive to provide essential athleticwear while being respectful of the environment, the collaboration has grown to monstrous proportions. In 2017 alone, the plastic-based footwear sold over one million pairs of sneakers, using an average of 11 water bottles in their production. As Parley and adidas prepare to expand their already massive collection this June, more new colorways of their recycled silhouettes are slowly surfacing online.
This June, the Parley x adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged will return to shelves for the first time in over a year. While the Uncaged variation was the pair’s first foray into footwear, they have since expanded their horizons to include much more challenging and intriguing silhouettes. The new colorway will combine the same combination of tones they have been working with recently, namely the Carbon black, Blue Spirit, and of course a simple white for the Boost midsole.

Parley and adidas will release their next iteration of the Parley Ultra Boost Uncaged sometime in June 2018. Priced at the usual $200, they will release form both adidas and select retailers.
