Off-White and Nike seem to be very pleased with their take on the Air Max 97. With two more colorways supposedly in the works after the first drop, a fourth iteration has surfaced online. The “Barely Pink” Off-White Air Max 97 is expected this Summer.
The Nike Air Max 97 is one of the most coveted Nike Air sneakers of all time. The futuristic running shoe was adopted by sneakerheads shortly after its debut and held in high regards ever since. Last year, Virgil Abloh chose to include the coveted silhouette in his Off-White x Nike collection, and the non-traditional rendition has become a grail to many. Now, information from our friends Py_Rates shows that Virgil and Nike are adding a soft new colorway to their palette. The Off-White Nike Air Max 97 is reported to launch in a “Barely Pink” colorway sometime this Summer. The new look gives the semi-translucent upper an airy pink tone, while the sole receives a more solid, blush hue. The classic Off-White details are present as always, standing out with the orange tab on the black Swoosh, along with white laces and Nike Air tag. The latest colorway of the Off-White x Nike Air Max 97 to leak online will release in July 2018. The new “Barely Pink” theme will retail for $190, and likely release from both Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
