New Balance’s list of high-profile collaborators keeps expanding at a rapid rate. This week, a new project with Los Angeles’ No Vacancy Inn was leaked via Instagram, showing off a striking take on the 990v3.

New Balance’s 990 series has been receiving plenty of love recently, and with good reason. The classic silhouette has been a favorite amongst casual sneakerheads and higher fashion circles for several years now, thanks to its timeless style and endless comfort. Just last month, New Balance launched a limited edition collaboration with New York’s Todd Snyder using the 990v3 as a canvas. Now, they’re traveling across the country to Los Angeles for another 990v3 release, this time in conjunction with No Vacancy Inn.

The duo behind the lifestyle brand, Tremaine Emory and Acyde, has cooked up a unique take on New Balance’s fan favorite 990v3. The shoes mesh upper begins in black, surrounded by light grey suede overlays along the mudguard, quarter panels, and heel counter. Black leather accents reinforce the toebox and collar, while bright red laces add a splash of color. Finally, red Water & Wifi branding stitched onto the heels.

The No Vacancy Inn x New Balance 990v3 has not yet been announced for release, though they are expected to debut sometime soon. While a price tag is currently unavailable for the new project, we expect them to retail somewhere above $180.
