Nike’s Vapormax technology is slowly taking over their catalog. With new silhouettes coming seemingly monthly, the latest is a tech-inspired runner with a sleek new look. Check out the Nike Air Vapormax Run Utility, coming soon.

Nike’s Vapormax technology is taking over. As the bulbous Air soles have been slowly creeping into every aspect of the Swoosh arsenal, fans have patiently waited for the next hot new silhouette. This month, we finally have our first look. Titled the Nike Vapormax Run Utility, the new sneaker combines the brand’s latest Air technology with a utilitarian-inspired look. The newly updated Nike Air Vapormax silhouette brings a wealth of techwear-inspired looks to the franchise. First, the Run Utility begins with neoprene base layer that conforms to the wearer’s foot while providing flexibility. A simple mesh layer takes over the sides, providing secure cushioning and a smooth ride. Next, the Swoosh’s signature Flywire strands run from the sole up each side to create a unique new lacing system, which is held together by a sliding lace lock. The new Nike Vapormax Run Utility will launch in two initial colorways, one triple black and one soft grey with small blue hits around the edges.

The new Nike Air Vapormax Run Utility has not officially been announced for release, though it is expected to drop soon. The grey and black colorways are expected to be the first pairs, and it is currently unclear what the retail price will be.
