The Nike Vapormax is likely one of the best shoes of the past two years. With its numerous technological advancements and sleek aesthetics, there is little else from the brand that even compares. The beauty of Vapormax lies in its flexibility, though not physically. The bulbous sole technology is flexible because it was engineered for performance, but the designers knew what would happen when sneaker fans got a hold of it. The sharp look fits right into the retro-future style of today’s streetwear, utilizing elements from the past and rebuilding them for the future. This month, the Vapormax Flyknit 2.0 will receive a stylish and luxurious new upgrade to help keep things fresh. To begin, the knit upper mixes a bold Team Red with black threads to give the shoe a dark, almost maroon look. The typical mudguard and heel bumpers used for support are made from leather for this pair, with the toe in red to match the upper and the heels in a clean Vachetta Tan. The heels also sport two-tone nylon pull tabs, featuring the prominent red and tan tones. Finally, this new Vapormax 2.0 NRG is finished off by a plain black Vapormax sole unit.

Nike’s Air Vapormax Flyknit 2 is scheduled to release in its first limited edition NRG colorway on November 13th, 2018. The slick red color scheme will retail for the usual $190 pricepoint from both Nike and select retailers.
