Nike’s new Vapor Street Flyknit is making waves among sneakerheads. The record-breaking turned street style sneaker is adding more colorways to the lineup, starting with this clean all-white version coming in June.
Nike’s latest performance miracle has slowly made its transition onto the feet of sneakerheads everywhere. While the Vapor Flyknit built for the street is not quite the same as the pair built to break marathon records, the style and shape are almost identical save for the materials used and method of construction. The Nike Vapor Street combines the lightweight and comfortable benefits of the brand’s patented Flyknit technology with the innovative new React foam, which provides a smooth and springy ride on the road. Additionally, the aggressive shape of the shoe is what gives the Vapor Street its fashion creds; the pointed heel and wide forefoot are an unexpected, yet welcome twist to running shoes. The new white colorway of the silhouette is the cleanest take yet. The Flyknit upper and React midsole both come in a flat white tone, with the enormous lateral Swoosh standing out in wolf grey.
