Nike’s React cushioning is slowly taking over for the brand’s other offerings. This month, the fan-favorite React Element 87 silhouette gets its wildest colorway yet, decking out the thin translucent upper in camouflage.
Nike’s React Element 87 has been a hit this year, building upon the silhouette that was practically unanimously named Sneaker of the Year for 2018. Now, Nike is beginning to have some fun with it. Fresh off the release of two new colorways, Moss and Dusty Peach, a third piece of the latest installment surfaced quietly on Nike’s website yesterday. The new look for the React Element 87 is not all that different from past iterations but adds something entirely new. Throughout the translucent sections of this Element 87, Nike has added jagged overlays in both light and dark colors to create a camouflage-like pattern throughout. The colorway mixes olive green, black, Volt, and bright red throughout its various layers.

Nike’s latest surprise colorway of the React Element 87 is now available exclusively from Nike. As per usual, this translucent React Element silhouette carries a retail price tag of $160. Currently, it is unclear if the new camo look will debut at other retailers.
