Nike’s React Element 87 has almost unanimously been named as the 2018 “Sneaker of the Year”, and obviously, this is cause for celebration. Check out the “Black Aurora” and “Orewood Brown” colorways scheduled to release early next year.
Nike’s Element 87 runner has finally arrived. Each colorway that the Swoosh has dropped so far has sold out nearly immediately, and fans of the new silhouette have been clamoring for more new looks. Thankfully, we’re dealing with Nike here which means that this wish has been granted, and more Element 87 colorways are scheduled to release to help kick off the new year. The next two new colorways of the React Element 87 are ready to drop in January and are a perfect blend of neutral colors and bright tones to help push the franchise forward. First up, the “Black Aurora” look combines a translucent volt and pink upper with minimal bright blue hits and a black React midsole. This contrast of dark bases with bright colors works extremely well, if not slightly similar to to the black colorway from the last release. Next up, the “Light Orewood Brown” color scheme. This Element 87 is a much more neutral take on Nike’s most exciting new silhouette, beginning with an extremely pale brown upper that features grey overlays and vibrant hits of volt and orange. This pair rests on top of a plain white React midsole, completing the simple tonal look.

The next installments in Nike’s React Element 87 family are scheduled to drop sometime in 2019, though no date has been announced. Both colorways will retail for their usual $160, and be available from both Nike and select retailers.
