This year is the sneaker’s twentieth anniversary, and in celebration, Nike has unleashed a massive wealth of both new and original colorways to the public. However, many of these colorways are made exclusively in men’s sizing, leaving many women at a loss to find the pair they’re looking for. Now, Nike has an exciting new colorway to offer their female fans. The Air Max 98 “Sequoia” is one of the most intricate color schemes we’ve seen so far this year. First, the materials of the shoe have been updated to enhance the look. The beginning mesh layer has been replaced with a smooth-looking textile that features a floral graphic print all over. The textile comes in brown, with the flowers standing out in green and pink. Next, the lower layers of the Air Max 98 have been covered in a premium suede or nubuck leather to provide a more luxurious look and feel.
