The Nike Air Max line has made a massive comeback in recent years. With renewals of great silhouettes like the 1, 90, and 97, Nike has also turned their attention to less popular pairs, like the Air Max Plus, seen here in a new Sail colorway coming soon.
Nike’s Air Max family is in high demand right now. Over the last few years, the brand has slowly reintroduced a handful of Nike Air products back into the limelight. This assortment included coveted retros from the 80’s and 90’s that are difficult to find today, as well as rehashed and updated versions of the Swoosh’s famous Air Max line. While silhouettes like the Air Max 1 Anniversary have stood out over the past year, one of the breakout stars is the return of the Air Max Plus. Originally released in 1998, the Air Max Plus (or Tuned) was a hit with runners due to the “tuned” pods in the heel which allowed for greater impact protection. Now, the AM Plus is back and looking better than ever. The next colorway to hit shelves has not been given an official release date, though this is certainly one to watch out for. The new look blankets the entire Air Max Plus upper in the smooth, creamy Sail hue that Nike has been using obsessively lately. Next, the tiny Swoosh, as well as tongue and insole branding, come in a brilliant Royal Blue while the Air Max bubble underfoot completes the look in bold orange.
