Nike and space seem to go hand in hand.  This month, they’ve unveiled the spiritual successor to their “Moon Landing” Air Max. Check out the Air Max 90 “Mars Landing”, hitting shelves this week.

There’s something about Nike’s space-themed footwear releases that sneakerheads just can’t get enough of. Whether its a collaboration between Nike, NASA, and Paul George on a basketball shoe, or simply a stunning celebration of a historic event like the Air Max Lunar90 “Moon Landing”, the Swoosh always knocks it out of the park. This year is no different, as Nike has finally pulled the curtain on their upcoming Air Max 90 “Mars Landing”. Thematically similar to 2014’s “Moon Landing” iteration, the new Mars colorway also features a printed upper meant to mimic the surface of the rocky red planet. The laces and inner lining come in an organic orange tone to match, all of which rests upon a speckled black midsole. Additionally, the entirety of the upper sports a 3M reflective coating, causing them to light up when catching the sun at a certain angle.
