adidas and Nice Kicks are up to something in LA, as they recently teased a new event. Along the way, the adidas Consortium x Nice Kicks NMD was confirmed for a comeback.
The Nice Kicks x adidas NMD_R1 Primeknit “Tye-Dye” is one of the most coveted Nomad shoes of all time, featuring a black and red tye-dye color scheme. The shoe released exclusively at adidas Consortium retailers during the brand’s Consortium World Tour series in 2016 that highlighted 12 unique boutiques. This Nice Kicks pair is a homage to the city of San Francisco, and the hippie wave that hit the city in the 60s and 70s. The shoes are incredibly hard to come by these days, often reselling for over $1200. However, Nice Kicks is giving those in Los Angeles a chance to win a pair via a four day chase event around the city. Starting Wednesday, February 7th, sneakerheads hoping to score a pair must tune in to Nice Kicks’ social media accounts to follow along. Other prizes for the event include an unreleased Pharrell NMD Trail Hu “Blank Canvas”, A Ma Maniere x Invincible Ultra Boost, adidas Crazy BYW LVL 1, and Packer x Solebox Ultra Boost Mid.
