adidas and Japanese streetwear staple Neighborhood are scheduled to release a new collaborative collection this month. Originally only consisting of four shoes, another NMD_R1 Primeknit has surfaced in a limited all-black colorway.

The adidas x Neighborhood collection first leaked almost a year ago, in the form of samples on social media. The first shoe to appear was a reworked version of the NMD_R1 Primeknit, which substituted a sock like collar for the standard lined model, and added nubuck straps and layovers around the midfoot. The pair also featured signature Neighborhood detailing, such as TPU teeth around the toe box, and logos on the forward midsole brick and heel. The colorway was mostly black, but popped with white on all the little details and branding. Now, images of a “triple Black” colorway have surfaced online, keeping the aggressive silhouette, but painting the shoe in a new, more minimalist manner.

The Triple Black NMD will be released in very limited numbers and locations alongside the rest of the collection, which is due out February 24th. The new murdered out version of the Neighborhood NMD_R1 Primeknit will release exclusively at adidas x NBHD pop-ups in Tokyo, Hong-Kong, and Los Angeles, so pay attention to their social media for more information on the locations.
