As the highest-grossing superhero movie of all time, Black Panther’s cultural impact was immense and to say otherwise would be an understatement. Now, adidas joins forces with Marvel to bring forth a heroic collaboration with this Black Panther-inspired Dame 5.
As part of the Marvel x adidas “Heroes Among Us” collection, the Dame 5 gets dressed in an overall Black Panther inspired theme. Reminiscent of the characters suit and aesthetic, this Dame 5 embodies the style of adidas and Marvel simultaneously.
Composed of a Core Black, Action Purple, and Silver Metallic colorway, this adidas Dame 5 reflects the Wakandan’s suit. The Black portions act as a nod to the Vibranium suit Black Panther dons, while the Purple designs act in similar fashion representing the kinetic energy released through his armor. One of the most subtle but notable elements of the design, is the “Wakanda Forever” slogan placed onto the pull tabs of the shoe. Wakanda Forever!
