The adidas Salvation is back. After an initial debut with adidas Consortium’s ode to the Torsion bar, Ronnie Fieg has unveiled his own special collaboration using the refurbished silhouette. Check out the Kith x adidas FYW S-97.

adidas’ archives are filled with thousands of silhouettes, each with their own unique story and fan base. This year, the brand is celebrating a few of those special silhouettes from their past to celebrate their contribution to the brand’s history. One of these shoes is the adidas Equipment Salvation, a 1997 runner featuring the famous Feet You Wear technology. Combining FYW with a Torsion bar, the Salvation was recently dusted off and brought back into the brand’s arsenal as the adidas FYW S-97. Now, Ronnie Fieg is dropping the first collaborative colorways of the silhouette.

Kith’s take on the adidas S-97 is a great look for the retro runner. Both colorways take on a minimal white color scheme, accented by eye-catching swathes of color. The first pair uses two tones that have been favorites in Ronnie’s arsenal for a while, adding Salmon Pink to the tongue branding and toe box as well as a dash of maroon running across the outer side. The second colorway gives off major Stan Smith vibes, adding bright green to the adidas logos, heels, lacing system, and inner lining while small neon green accents complete the look.

Kith’s latest project with adidas is set to release alongside the New York brand’s Monday Program on March 18th, 2019. The two colorways of the adidas FYW S-97 will likely go for a retail price above the previous $175, though this remains to be seen.
