Everyone wants more from Kendrick Lamar and Nike. After the two announced a new deal earlier this year, they began dropping specialty Kung-Fu Kenny Nike Cortez sneakers. Now, after a small hiatus, Kendrick and Nike are back with their fourth colorway.
Kendrick Lamar and Nike have had quite the year. They began 2018 by announcing their new partnership, and that Kendrick would become one of the faces of the Cortez. Soon after, the two released their first “Kung Fu Kenny” Cortez in extremely limited numbers during All-Star weekend before ramping up their production for the next two drops. Now, after completing their extensive “Championship Shop” pop-up tour, Kendrick and Nike are back in the lab for another pair, dropping soon.
This time around, Kendrick Lamar and Nike are headed in a new direction with their footwear. While the collaborative canvas will still be the Cortez, this month they appear to be dropping a new laceless model. The reworked silhouette features an overlaid tongue piece and elastic bands culminating in a quick release system at the heel. In a simple white and grey color scheme, orange accents and the “House Shoes” label on the tongue complete the look.

Kendrick Lamar and Nike are rumored to release their fourth entry in the collaborative Cortez series on October 14th, 2018. The bold new slip-on makeup will retail for the usual $100 retail price from both Nike and select retailers.
