Kanye West is back on Twitter. The superstar musician and designer has taken to sharing personal philosophies and words of wisdom, until today. Now, West is sharing a slew of new Yeezy samples, giving us a sneak peek at what’s to come.

The Yeezy brand is always expanding, adding new silhouettes, colorways, and categories to its lineup. Previously, most of our early looks at the newest adidas Yeezy products would come from the YeezyMafia, a technology-savvy group of sneakerheads known for leaking products months ahead of time. Now, with the account missing from Twitter, Kanye West himself has taken up the mantle of sharing the latest in Yeezy. However, given the nature of who is releasing these photos, we get an incredible inside look at the shoes and process.

Kanye has released a steady stream of tweets since his return to the platform almost one week ago. Today, he began by offering some words of wisdom before unleashing a string of tweets about his next album and the G.O.O.D. Music release calendar for the coming months. Shortly after, Kanye had sneakerheads riled up as he shared several images of sample Yeezy shoes in what appeared to be a product showroom.

The first image gave us an introduction to the series. The photo featured a open room with several long tables in it. Sitting on the foremost table was an extensive lineup of Yeezy shoes, in dozens of never before seen colorways. Featured in the assembly were over a dozen Yeezy Boost 350 V2 colorways, ranging from pink to lime green, pastel blue, and brown. The original Yeezy Boost 700 is also featured in the image, as well as several pairs of the upcoming “Kiwi” colorway. The Yeezy 500 also makes an appearance in blue, yellow, black, and even pink and purple colorways that Kanye seems particularly fond of.

Next, Yeezy moved on to some sample and prototypes, beginning with a new Yeezy Boost 350 V2. The new version features an updated scale-like knit, as well as a translucent stripe in place of the usual color. Then, Ye’ shared his progress on the adidas Yeezy basketball shoe, which is rumored to have been in the works for several years now. The new silhouette takes inspiration from the 350 line, using a similar outsole that is larger and more structured. The upper features wavy stripes similar to the 350 V2, and a padded heel for extra protection. The shoe is clearly still a prototype, as large sections are clearly unrefined and unfinished. Finally, Kanye shared a look at the most interesting shoe yet. Titled the Yeezy 451, the sneaker is still in early prototype stages. the main body appears to be made from a stripped down Yeezy 700, leaving just the mesh base. Then, a bulbous sole similar to the 500’s was formed using plaster or foam, with teeth that extend up the sides of the upper.

Kanye West’s return to twitter has been extremely interesting. His personal insights and ideas have been worth the follow alone, while the early Yeezy news are still a welcome addition. There was no word on if or when any of the new shoes or colorways will be released, though hopefully some of them will arrive in stores this year. Check out some of Kanye’s photos below for a better look, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more adidas Yeezy news.
