John Elliott & LeBron James’ collaborative Nike Icon silhouette has been absent for quite a while now. This week, JE himself shared a first look at the next installment of the project, including three new footwear colorways and matching apparel.

John Elliott has been up to some interesting things since we last saw a project from him and Nike, in footwear at least. Most notably, the artist and designer collaborated with Lexus on a special set of tires for the 2019 UX, a new crossover vehicle. The tires were modeled after his Nike Air Force 1 and took special inspiration from the classic silhouette’s outsole. Now, Elliott is back with another installment of his Nike LeBron Icon silhouette, along with some more matching apparel.

The Nike LeBron Icon has been absent from sneaker release calendars in recent months, though these new colorways should bring plenty of attention back to them. The first two pairs are simple tonal interpretations, covering the mid-cut silhouette’s leather portions and opaque portions in matching black and white sections, both using the same plain translucent base layer. The third pair, however, is the only colorful set we’ve seen so far. The translucent TPU upper is dyed in a light neon green tone, which is matched by many of the supportive overlays. Baby blue accents cover either side of the shoe, meeting in the middle at the lace lock. Finally, white leather ankle padding and lacing system complete the look.

John Elliott’s latest installment of his Nike LeBron Icon silhouette has not yet been announced for release, though we expect them to hit shelves sometime soon. The trio of new colorways will likely retail for the Icon’s original $250 price point, and launch from both Nike and select retailers.
