PUMA and Ferrari are back for another project in 2019. For years now, the two unlikely partners have pumped out shoe after shoe with some to little widescale recognition form the sneaker community. This year, that changes with PUMA RS-X “Rosso Corsa”.

Ferrari and PUMA’s long term partnership has resulted in a variety of historic footwear over the years. While many of their past releases have gone for unorthodox PUMA silhouettes, including custom driving shoes and strap-filled high tops, this year the storied brand is choosing to go with some of their currently popular retro releases. First up, the Italian automobile manufacturers will give their take on the reinvented PUMA RS-X.

PUMA’s recently reinvigorated Running System technology has been a hit in the new year. Originally built in the 1980s, the German athletic brand took the “oversized” sneaker trend by storm last year with the old school technology. Now, PUMA is giving a few other famous brands the chance to give their take on the timeless silhouette. In addition to their two pack of bold CELL Venom colorways, Ferrari will also add a third silhouette to their collection, the RS-X. Highlighting the shoe’s bulky design and the mix of different materials, Ferrari has wrapped the shoe in a triple white look, adding hits of red and yellow to the sole to add some of their signature flare. Finally, an oversized horse logo acts as the heel counter.
