PUMA and Ferrari are back for another project in 2019. For years now, the two unlikely partners have pumped out shoe after shoe with some to little widescale recognition form the sneaker community. This year, that changes with PUMA Cell Venom “Rosso Corsa”.

Ferrari and PUMA’s long term partnership has resulted in a variety of historic footwear over the years. While many of their past releases have gone for unorthodox PUMA silhouettes, including custom driving shoes and strap-filled high tops, this year the storied brand is choosing to go with some of their currently popular retro releases. First up, the Italian automobile manufacturers will give their take on the CELL Venom from 1998.

The set of Ferrari x PUMA Cell Venom colorways might be the boldest project yet from the two brands. The chunky silhouette will launch in two colorways later this month, each with their own unique pallet. First, the Venom arrives with a blacked out base layer with added overlays of pale grey suede to add more dimension to the look. Yellow and red accents can be found around the shoe pointing to Ferrari’s involvement, as is the enormous hose badge on the lateral side were not enough. Next up, the CELL takes on a white mesh base layer complimented by grey, black, and bright red overlays. As with the black pair, a large Ferrari logo completes the outer side of the shoe.
