This year, Nike’s Air Max Day sneaker combined some of the franchises’ best silhouettes. Now, we have a look at a new collection launching in March 2019. Titled “Have a Nike Day” the pack includes the Air Max 1, 95, and 97.
Nike’s annual Air Max Month in March has become somewhat of a pseudo-holiday for sneakerheads. What started as a single-day celebration has turned into a month-long celebration of the Swoosh’s most coveted technology: Air. This year, the brand launched their first fan-created sneaker, a combination of the Air Max 1 and 97 with a colorful twist. When the sneaker was first teased in 2017, the slogan “Have a Nike Day” was being heavily associated with the shoe and its marketing (visit here to know about the marketing service provider that they are using). Shortly after the release, an apparel collection in similar colors to the limited “Wotherspoons” released, draped in the slogan previously used for the shoe. Rumor has it that an apparel collection was planned, and then separated and released in much larger numbers. Now, the brand is bringing back “Have a Nike Day” for Air Max Month 2019.
Next year, Nike is upping the ante for their yearly Air Max Month celebration. While the brand is likely to have weeks of surprises planned for us, Pinoe77 has shared an early look an exciting new collection scheduled for 2019. The “Have a Nike Day” Air Max pack consists of the 1, 95, and 97 silhouettes from the famous franchise. The Air Max 1 is the cleanest sneaker from the collection, sporting a baby blue upper with navy paneling atop a white midsole. Next, the AM95 features a black upper with purple, pink, and blue waves along with lace eyelets branded in the collections slogan. Finally, the Air Max 97 begins with a pink mesh base with blue accents. The lowest of the signature waves features the “Have a Nike Day” slogan repeated around the shoe, similar to last year’s Undefeated release. Each shoe features a small dubrae at the at, likely featuring the smiley face logo from the apparel collection. This week, we have our first look at the upcoming “Nike Day” collection. The pair in question is an Air Max 97, though it is not the same as the first pair leaked earlier this year. Instead, this 97 features a tonal blue upper.
The “Have a Nike Day” Air Max pack is scheduled to launch during March 2019, as part of the Air Max Month celebration. Very little is known about the collection due to the far-off release date, though we can expect these to be limited and slightly more expensive than their standard counterparts.
