The Air Jordan 6 is back for a real retro release this year. Originally released in 1991, the Air Jordan 6 “Infrared” was a fan favorite thanks to its sleek look and Mike’s preference of the look. Now, the legendary colorway will finally return in all of its OG glory.

The Air Jordan 6 is one of the brand’s most coveted models. When retro releases roll around, fans of the original releases are always around to pick up a pair, which means that Jordan Brand is happy to keep making great new colorways. This month, a long time rumor has finally been confirmed as true with official images of an Air Jordan 6 Retro featuring the elusive Nike Air branding on the heel. Finally, the Air Jordan 6 “Infrared” returns in all of its retro glory. One of the 6’s original colorways from 1991, the Infrared look is always one of the most sought after of the Jordan retros. This all black pair features minimal vibrant red hits along the midsole, Jumpman branding, and the lace lock on the tongue. While this release is likely to be somewhat widespread with seemingly many pairs to go around, Jordan Brand has been doing a great job recently making their drops feel that way. Keep your eyes peeled for raffles and releases, as this will most definitely be a top release of the year thanks to the addition of Nike Air branding to each heel.
