The Air Jordan 3 is one of the most coveted Jumpman silhouettes of all time. With the 3 celebrating its thirtieth anniversary this year, it’s no surprise that Jordan Brand is pulling out all the stops. However, no one expected this. Any Jordan fan knows that the 3 was Tinker’s first and that he struggled with finding a way to add Nike branding to the shoe. Eventually, he opted not to, leaving a clean canvas that would grow to become iconic. But what if he hadn’t? What if Tinker Hatfield had gone through with his original design, adding a large Swoosh to the Jordan 3? This year, we finally saw the answer to this question in the form of the Air Jordan 3 Tinker. The silhouette first made its debut during the NBA All-Star weekend in February and has popped up in several colorways since. Now, we have some interesting news that the legendary “Black Cement” colorway will also undergo the Tinker treatment in 2019. While no production pairs have surfaced quite yet, DJ Folk was kind enough to share some custom pairs, indicating exactly what the new BC3 will look like.

The black cement version of the Air Jordan 3 Tinker is rumored to drop on August 15th, 2019. For $200, the new look Jordan 3 will launch from both Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
