This year, the Air Jordan 14 is celebrating its twentieth anniversary. At a Jordan event this week, the brand acknowledged this milestone, as well as revealing one of the celebratory pairs. Check out the new Air Jordan 14 “Desert Sand” coming this May.

The Air Jordan 14 holds a special place in the hearts of many collectors. The bold silhouette was the last sneaker worn by Michael Jordan in his NBA career, giving this model an impressive history. With pairs like the Jordan 14 “Last Shot” returning in Retro fashion this year, the brand is also breaking out an arsenal of new colorways, including the recently unveiled “Desert Sand” iteration. This neutral shoe pits the upper in a monotone suede or nubuck made to look like dry sand. The tongue and laces come in black to keep the colorway simple, while hits of red add flare to the heels. While little information is currently available regarding the Air Jordan 14 “Desert Sand”, the sneakers are expected to arrive in stores this May. If you can’t wait for more, check out our early in-hand look at the 2018 Jordan 1 “Shadow” coming soon.
