The shoe has been released in dozens of colorways and variations, though one classic color scheme has evaded the silhouette for years. This year, the coveted Air Jordan 11 will finally release in an all-black colorway. The new “Prom Night” 11 is inspired by the silhouette’s transition from the hard court to being a part of formal clothing for some sneakerheads. The versatility of the shoe comes from the patent leather running around the center, a material commonly used in making loafers. Now, a limited release of the blacked-out theme will finally be made available to consumers. Supposedly, this colorway will be limited to about 50,000 pairs, significantly less than the already-limited Air Jordan 1 recent releases. Priced at $220, this Air Jordan 11 “Prom Night” is an excellent addition to any 11 collector’s closet.
