The Air Jordan 11 is one of the brand’s strongest offering since it debuted in 1996. Now, Jordan Brand is prepping the legendary sneaker for the gridiron. Check out the “Bred” & “Colombia” colorways of the new cleat, available now.

The Air Jordan 11 is a tried and true classic. Originally released late in 1995, Mike’s 11th shoe signaled his return to the NBA after a brief personal hiatus. Michael turned the Jordan 11 into a whole new beast with his play that year. While a good amount of the 11’s appeal comes from its sleek and luxurious look, the shoe’s history is rooted in epic on-court performances from Mike himself. Now, Jordan Brand is flipping the 11 for a new purpose, giving football players the chance to create their own stories on the field. Today, the Air Jordan 11 launched in two new cleat colorways ahead of the football season later this year. Both pairs feature original color blocking from 1996 in the “Bred” & “Colombia” colorways, two of the most popular when they released. The uppers on each pair are the same as a standard shoe, though the soles have been swapped for a thin Lunarlon layer as well as stiff spikes to keep your grip on the field.
