It’s no secret that Russell Westbrook is a fan of the Air Jordan 10. Almost all of his special player editions have used the silhouette as a canvas. Now, one of his limited editions is finally releasing to the public later this month.

Russell Westbrook’s history with the Air Jordan 10 dates back years, to his days at Leuzinger High School in Lawndale, California. There, Westbrook was a star. Recognized early on for his small stature, yet incredible athletic ability, the OKC point guard was always destined for greatness in the NBA, and a signature shoe with Jordan Brand. However, his next release with the brand will not feature the Westbrook Why Not. Instead, the legendary Air Jordan 10 will take its place. This special pair is the first time a Westbrook player-exclusive has been released to the public, so expect these to go quick.

The “Westbrook” Jordan 10 is a simple yet bold color blocking. Similar to last month’s “Homage to Home” Jordan 1, the new Jordan 10 PE splits two colorways evenly down the middle. This Air Jordan begins with a smooth white leather base for most of the upper. Then, the inner medial side of the lacing system and collar is dyed blue, while the outer sides of the shoe come in a bright red. The striped midsoles are made to match, splitting red and blue evenly down the center. Finally, the Air Jordan 10 “Westbrook” PE is finished off by “Class of 2006” branding on the insoles to commemorate Russell’s graduation.
