The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Shadow” is set to return later this year. One of the most cherished Jordan 1’s of all time, the original colorway is expected to arrive in stores soon.

The “Shadow” Air Jordan 1 has been one of the most desireable colorways of the silhouette since it first launched back in 1985. As with other releases from this year, like the “Bred Toe” 1’s and upcoming “Game Royal” colorway, the Shadows are expected to have significantly lower stock numbers than consumers are used to from last year. The “Bred Toe” was expected to be a general release because of the sheer number of stores receiving pairs. However, it was soon discovered that many stores were not given more than 20 pairs to sell. This is likely to be the case with the upcoming black and grey addition, one of the most sought-after Jordan 1’s of all time. The understated black and grey upper provides a neutral look to one of the most polarizing shoes of the era, allowing Jordan fans to rock his best while keeping it low-key. The shoe begins with an all-black base, layered with small light grey areas around the heel, toe box, ankle, and signature Swoosh logo on both sides. The “Shadow” Air Jordan 1 is finished off by a plain white midsole and black outsole.

Rumor of the 2018 Air Jordan 1 Retro “Shadow” first leaked nearly two years ago, exciting both new and original collectors of the shoe. The OG colorway of the greatest sneaker ever is expected to arrive in stores on April 14th, 2018, for the current standard retail price of $160.
