There is an unbelievable amount of heat dropping during this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend. Jordan Brand may win the release round up with their slew of new and original models, now including the “Gold Toe” Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG.

This model first debuted as a Complex-Con exclusive, though with some minor differences. Similar to 2016’s “Top Three” Jordan 1’s, the Complex-Con pair featured asymmetrical color blocking on each shoe. Soon after the massive event, new images of a similar pair began to appear online. This second pair was almost indistinguishable from the first, aside from the fact that both shoes were identical. Following several months of rumors, doubts, and uproar from the Jordan community, it looks like the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Gold Toe” will be seeing a release. The shoes feature an upper constructed entirely of patent leather, with gold around the ankle and heel, as well as the toe box. The panels on the lateral sides are plain white, with a black Nike Swoosh placed on top, while the medial panels are blacked out with a gold Swoosh lain over. The toe box and lace eyelets are black, following the same format as popular models like the “Shattered Backboard” 1s. The sneaker is finished off by a black Jordan Wings logo on the heel, and gold Nike Air branding on the tongue.
