The Air Jordan 1 has made quite the name for itself in 2018. With hot new colorways dropped seemingly every week, it was fairly hard to keep up. Luckily, the new options will continue into 2019, with colorways like this “Obsidian” take launching later this Summer.

Another highly sought-after Air Jordan 1 colorway is set to return this year. Originally launched in 1985, the Jordan 1 has taken on dozens if not hundreds of different iterations and colorways in the 34 years since. However, the latest colorway to return in a refreshed form is not an original look, or even a year old for that matter. It’s the “Blue Chill” color scheme that made its debut earlier this year as a women’s’ exclusive pair. Then, the shoe was constructed almost entirely from stiff patent leather, giving the whole thing a slight reflective sheen. However, for the new “Obsidian” look, Jordan Brand is taking it easy on themselves and producing these in the standard leather makeup. Additionally, slight changes have been made to the color blocking, like swapping the baby blue toe box for a cleaner Sail white tone.
