The Air Jordan 1 High has a new look for the new year. This week, new images have surfaced online, showing the timeless high-top receiving a bold makeover with several new technical details. Check out the Jordan 1 Cargo, coming soon.

Jordan Brand is introducing some wild new changes to their original silhouettes this year. After taking a look at a bold new 3M Jordan 6, as well as a new version of the Jordan 3 Tinker this week, new images of a bold new Air Jordan 1 have now surfaced online. Titled the Jordan 1 Cargo, the new look introduces some interesting new technical additions to the silhouette, though some of their purposes remain to be seen. While the body of the Air Jordan 1 remains largely the same in its leather construction, new details like the weave of nylon strips that takes over each quarter panel and collar provide a new system of support as well as a new lacing system. Similar strips of nylon are applied to the heel tab, creating a series of three loops to help tug the shoes on. Finally, the new Air Jordan 1 Cargo also features a clear panel where the tongue branding should be, allowing the wearer to insert their own custom graphics into the shoe.
