The Air Jordan 1 has made quite the name for itself in 2018. With hot new colorways dropping seemingly every week, it’s hard to keep up. Luckily, the new options will continue into 2019, with colorways like this “Crimson Tint” take launching in May.

The Air Jordan 1 has had the run of a lifetime in 2018. With the brand releasing over 25 new and unique colorways, the 33-year-old silhouette is still flexing as one of the most important in sneaker history. Now, we have a somewhat official confirmation that this unprecedented release schedule will continue into the new year. While the Air Jordan 1 has leaked in plenty of new colors in recent weeks, we finally have a detailed look at our favorite pair yet: the new “Crimson Tint” iteration said to be releasing later this year, in April. The new look begins with a simple black base made from beautiful tumbled leather. Next, the toe box, heels, ankles, and Swoosh stand out in a stunning faded crimson color, which comes off more like light pink than deep red. The materials used for these pieces appear to differ from the tumbled leather base, though it is hard to tell exactly what it is from just photos. Finally, the new look is completed by a white midsole and crimson tinted outsole.
