The adidas Yung-1 silhouette finally has a release date. After months of rumors and new images surfacing weekly, the reworked silhouette from 1996 will return to retail shelves this summer. Included in the debut is the bright “Hi-Res Orange” theme.

adidas has gathered a lot of attention over the last year. The Brand with the Three Stripes has hopped on to the wave of oversized runners flooding the sneaker scene, leading the way with models like the Yeezy 500. Now, a long-rumored model revived for this look has finally been confirmed for release. The adidas Yung-1 is straight out of the 90’s. The bold upper mixes mesh and suede for a stylish, layered look and the aerodynamic sole gives the silhouette an aggressive design. The Yung-1 first leaked in 2017 and sparked fierce debate among sneakerheads as to whether or now “dad” shoes were cool. adidas is betting on ‘yes’ with their latest Originals model. The latest Yung-1 colorway to join the summer lineup is the eye-catching “Hi-Res Orange” scheme which paints the entire shoe in orange with navy blue and shock yellow highlights.
