Engineered Garments and adidas are teaming up for a special new sneaker release this month. The New York fashion label will be working with the Three Stripes’ Consortium sector on a special new Ultra Boost, dropping next week.

The adidas Consortium label has become synonymous with quality and attention to detail over the years, leading sneakerheads ears to perk up when the exclusive section of the brand is mentioned. With releases like the Consortium World Tour and last year’s Sneaker Exchange, the Three Stripes subdivision has offered up plenty of enticing silhouettes in the past. Now, Consortium has enlisted a new partner to help breathe some life back into the Ultra Boost.

Based out of New York, Engineered Garments is the pinnacle of what plenty think is ‘cool’ these days. Founded and designed by Daiki Suzuki, the contemporary fashion label mixes classic American styles with a twist of Daiki’s Japanese roots, creating something internationally renowned. For their project with adidas, the E.G. team has drafted a beautiful new iteration of the Ultra Boost for release next week. Using the original 1.0 Primeknit pattern, this Ultra Boost begins with a solid blue upper, down to the suede cage and heel cups. The inner lining, laces, and painted stripes come in white to contrast the main tone, with small hits of bright colors adorning the inner stripes and underfoot Torsion bar. To finish the design, the Boost midsole comes in plain white with a gum rubber colored Continental outsole.
