adidas is ready to celebrate the Ultra Boost. In addition to the announcement of the 1.0 OGs return, the brand has put together a stunning new collection to celebrate some of the silhouettes most brilliant colorways.
adidas’ Ultra Boost silhouette has firmly cemented its place in sneaker lore, and now, the Three Stripes is ready to pay homage to the sneaker that reinvented their brand. While the rumors of the “OG” Ultra Boost making a comeback have already been confirmed, adidas has finally made their official announcement, and it is much bigger than we originally expected. While many were anticipating the Ultra Boost 1.0 to return in its’ original black and purple color scheme, we were not prepared for the entire collection they revealed. In addition to the return of the OG, adidas running has put together an all-star pack of Ultra Boosts to celebrate the legendary shoe. First, a two-part pack containing an Ultra Boost Mid and 4.0, with a granite and blue themed color scheme. Then, the 4.0 gets a special “Laser Red” treatment in both men and women’s forms. Finally, the collection is rounded out by updated versions of the famous “Miami” and “A&M” colorways, previously NCAA exclusives.
