The adidas POD System 3.1 is finally launching in new colorways next month. After the successful pre-launch in June, the Three Stripes is upgrading the new silhouette with a wealth of color options, like this “Team Red” version, coming soon.

adidas is going hard on their retro revivals & upgrades this year. After reinventing the Falcondorf as the widely popular Yung-1, the Three Stripes is turning their focus to the Point of Deflection franchise. Originally released in the 90’s, the old school technology has been reworked to allow the wearer’s foot to move more freely, as well as adding the famous Boost cushioning for more comfort. The POD S3.1 made its initial debut earlier this Summer in a limited run of one colorway. Now, adidas is ready to turn up the heat with their latest silhouette. The latest adidas POD System 3.1 colorway to surface online is perhaps the most enticing yet. The thick knit upper comes entirely in a muted Team Red color, with most of the detailing like the outsole, heel tab, and tongue lip in a slightly darker hue. The sectioned midsole will come in a plain white state in both the rear and forefoot sections. Finally, the new POD System is completed by white lettering around the sneaker.
