adidas has already premiered several new iterations of their popular NMD line for 2018, but it appears they are not done yet as we get a closer look at the new NMD TS1 sample.

This new NMD, the TS1, builds off of existing design cues like the NMD R1 sole, classic NMD heel tab, and sleek Primeknit ankle collar. The upper is completely redesigned, and is a brand new look for the Three Stripes. The sock-like Primeknit upper features a mid-top cut, ending just above the ankle in a similar style to the NMD City Sock 1. However, this shoe adds a lacing system to the front, secured by velcro strips to hold the eyelets in place. The velcro strips are there to hold a Primeknit flap in place that covers the lace system, and allows the ends of the laces to pass through and be held in place by a lace lock. This new system will allow the wearer to loosen and tighten the laces quickly, and hide the rest from view. The sample pair that has leaked features a pattern in the knit similar to the new NMD STLT, with lines knit across the shoe for support. The heel features the same stripes in a perpendicular direction to give the shoe some aerodynamic texture. This pair also features what appears to be all-terrain protective taping along the lateral sides of the shoe above the Boost midsole.

Although no release date has been given for the new NMD TS1, writing on the interior flap of the shoe indicate they could release some time in Fall or Winter 2018. No further information for the shoe has been made available, but check out the images below for a closer look, and stay tuned to JustFreshKicks for more NMD release dates.
