Between reinventing their all-star NMD franchise every year, adidas has also started to rehash some of the most popular colorways. This month, the “Tricolor” pack is reinvented on one silhouette, set to drop this Fall.
The adidas NMD lineup is ever expanding, though this year they’ve spent a significant amount of time with the OG silhouette, the R1. Now a beloved lifestyle shoe in the sneaker scene, the NMD first launched in 2015 as a modern runner inspired by three of their archive models, and utilizing the best materials adidas has to offer. This week, we have our first look at adidas Originals’ new take on the “Tricolor” NMD pack from a few years back. This time around, the famed color scheme will return on the standard NMD_R1 silhouette, down to the basic knit upper. For the new interpretation, this soft upper is dyed entirely black. The lacing system and heel detailing are made to match in black, while the sidewall stripes are where the colors really shine. From heel to toe, the stripes are line up in red, white, and blue,
ADIDAS NMD_R1 “TRICOLOR” RELEASE INFORMATION
The next new adidas NMD_R1 colorway has not been announced for release, though they are expected to drop soon. The basic “Tricolor” color scheme will retail for the usual $130 retail price, and drop from both adidas and select retailers.
