The adidas NMD_R2 has been relatively silent over the past several months. The second evolution of the NMD line continued to grow in 2018, though at a reduced rate. Now, the silhouette is back with a new Summer-ready colorway.
The adidas NMD line has slowed down in recent months. Colorways that leaked throughout January and February are starting to hit shelves, though releases have been less frequent than before. While this is likely to make room for some the incredible new silhouettes coming from adidas this year, don’t expect the NMD to disappear anytime soon.
The NMD_R2 is back with a fresh new look for Summer. This pair paints the mesh upper all in grey with off-white accents on the stripes, tongue, and around the collar. The standard NMD_R2 heel cap comes in a bright teal tone, holding the orange pull tab in place. The laces add the only other bit of color to this new NMD, coming in orange to match the heel tab. Finally, the full-length Boost midsole comes in white, with the inner EVA brick standing out slightly in off-white. A clean gum outsole finished off the NMD_R2 “Summer”.
