The adidas NMD has seen countless colorways and constructions over the few years it has been available. Now, a brand new Christmas-ready NMD_R1 STLT Primeknit has appeared online, months away from a holiday season release.

The adidas NMD_R1 Primeknit has taken on a new look this year in the form of the STLT. The new upper makes use of horizontal stripes running across the shoe that both add visual texture and increased the stability of the soft knit material. Recently, new images of the NMD_R1 STLT have surfaced in a quite obvious Christmas theme. The shoe begins with a red striped base matched by the STLT’s signature added stripes. White stripes counter the base bed to give a pinstripe look, and up close there are even tiny hits of green woven throughout the Primeknit. The sock-like collar around the ankle comes in plain white, with green stripes on the inside. Detailing on the upper includes red heel tabs and laces, as well as the signature NMD pull tab in white with green lettering. The plain white Boost midsole is broken up with green EVA bricks.

No release information was leaked with the early images of the adidas NMD_R1 STLT “Christmas”, though the theme of the shoe suggests a winter release date. The price will likely be $170, the current standard for the STLT model. Check out the images below for a closer look at the holiday-themed shoe, and stay tuned for updates on the release.
