The adidas NMD_R1 has taken on many shapes and colorways over it’s lifetime. This year, it appears the Three Stripes are finally preparing a “Gucci” inspired colorway.
The adidas NMD_R1 has already earned it’s place in the pantheon of great Three Stripes silhouettes. This year is no different than those prior, as adidas will continue to create exciting new colorways for the favored NMD. Official images have recently revealed a colorway long awaited by fans. By no means an official collaboration, this shoe may as well serve as the formal addition of the “Gucci” adidas NMD_R1. Beginning with a plain, entirely black upper, the inspiration for the luxury brand comes from the signature NMD midsole pods. The forward piece takes on an olive green tone, while the rear two have a brick-like color. The pair is finished off by a simple white Boost midsole.
