adidas is continuing their strong offering of the NMD_R1, this time introducing the new “Raw Steel” colorway. Check out the images below to get an official look.
Since it’s debut in 2015, the NMD series has taken the lifestyle sneaker market by storm. With many different styles and reconstructed variations for both men and women under their belt, the Three Stripes is continuing to update the original NMD_R1. The new “Raw Steel” colorway covers the coveted R1 with varying hues of blue. The upper of this pair utilizes a soft heathered grey-blue knit, with a more solid blue highliting the stripes, laces, lining, heel cap, and adidas branding. The standard EVA pods feature the same dark blue on the forward brick, while the two situated towards the rear of the foot utilize the same blue tint color from the recent Yeezy Boost 350 V2. These pods are inserted into a plain white Boost midsole, which is protected from the elements by a translucent gum outsole.
