The adidas NMD franchise has taken on plenty of new looks and colorways since it’s 2015 release. Now, adidas is taking a slightly newer approach to the standard R1, retaining most of the same features but adding some bold new branding
The adidas NMD family has taken a step back from the limelight in 2018. The storied and cherished line has been at the center of adidas’ meteoric rise to prominence, though this year’s releases have slowed down. 2018 saw the release of several new additions to the NMD franchise, and despite these great-looking newcomers, the original R1 silhouette still reigns supreme. Now, the brand is currently preparing to release a new look for their famous NMD_R1 next month. The updated look will debut in a two-shoe pack with some bright colorful hits. Each shoe will come with a black or white upper, matched with different colored EVA bumpers in the sole. The white pair features a Solar Yellow heel with a purple toe insert and heel tab, while the black pair is reversed, utilizing yellow in the toe and purple around the heel. Finally, both pairs are complete by NMD branding on the inner medial side in the shoes secondary color.
ADIDAS NMD_R1 “NEON” PACK RELEASE INFORMATION
The new adidas NMD_R1 “Neon” pack is scheduled to drop on August 1st, 2018. The two pairs included will both retail for the usual $130, and release from both adidas and select retailers.
