adidas is making their mark in 2018. The Brand with the Three Stripes has gone all in this year, creating wild new silhouettes to feed their growing demand. This month, the new Kamanda popped up overseas in a brilliant new purple colorway.
The adidas Kamanda has been an interesting new silhouette to follow this year. Originally released in the Spring in a limited run of just two colorways, the premium terrace trainer has been slowly returning to retail shelves in a variety of different colorways. Now with strong collaboration behind it like Bodega’s rugged interpretation, the Kamanda has established its place amongst the adidas Originals arsenal. This week, we have a look at one of the brightest colorways yet, which recently debuted overseas in Japan. Dipping the Kamanda 01 in “ink”, the entirety of the suede upper comes in a vibrant purple tone, down to the laces and knit tongue. The leather heel counter comes in white to balance out the look, while the wavy midsole is dyed brown.

This fresh new interpretation of the adidas Kamanda has already released via Billy’s in Japan, with a global release expected soon. The vibrant purple look will retail for the silhouette’s usual $150 price tag, and launch from both adidas and select retailers.
