After the Iniki ran into legal trouble over its name last year, adidas is adding more new colorways to the slim I-5923 silhouette. One of these is the upcoming “Raw Gold” iteration that is scheduled to release soon.
Formerly known as the Iniki, the adidas I-5923 is still carving out its niche in the sneaker market. An all-around lifestyle runner, the comfort and flexibility offered by the shoe is unparalleled. The thin mesh upper makes the silhouette not only light, but extremely breathable, a must for the coming Spring months. The adidas “Raw Gold” Pantone has only recently become a staple of their color palette. Featured on 2018 variations of models like the NMD, Ultra Boost, and EQT lines, this tainted gold is slowly infiltrating most of the Three Stripes catalog. The I-5923 model to take this colorway will adopt an almost monochrome theme, broken up by the white heel tab as well as three-stripe branding. The white Boost midsole on this pair is finished off with a gum outsole.
