The adidas Hybrid series is almost upon us, and as we get closer we are beginning to see some of the new models. The latest new silhouette to surface fuses two beloved Three Stripes franchise to form the stunning new EQT_ZX.
adidas is going off with some of their new silhouettes this year. Over the last few days, we’ve taken a look at some of the various other hybrid silhouettes coming from the Three Stripes this year, most of which take the NMD_R1 sole and splice it onto the three different silhouettes that inspired the 2015 lifestyle. However, for the latest pair, adidas is going in a different direction. This time around, the Originals team is taking inspiration from two of their most popular franchises of all time: EQT and ZX. The two legendary sneaker families have been the breeding grounds for some of the Three Stripes most legendary innovations, and now, they’ll finally intertwine in a stunning way. The EQT_ZX combines the two in the same way as other hybrids, splicing the new EQT 91/18 Boost midsole onto a ZX-inspired upper made from mesh, suede, and leather. The first colorway of the new hybrid combines classic elements from both EQT and ZX, utilizing both lines’ signature green tones in combination with neutral whites and a touch of red to pull it all together.
ADIDAS EQT_ZX “EQT GREEN” RELEASE INFORMATION
The new adidas EQT_ZX Hybrid has been officially announced for release on October 17th, 2018. The initial green and red colorway will retail for $170 from both adidas and select retailers.
