The adidas Crazy BYW X is finally seeing a wide release in 2019. After just a few colorways dropped last year, the hybrid performance shoe returns in a variety of new looks this year-including an eye-catching USA theme.

This new addition to the adidas CRAZY line is anything but standard for the brand with the Three Stripes. The adidas CRAZY BYW X is a hybrid shoe, designated for both strong on-court support and flexibility, as well as casual all-day comfort off-court. This makes the look of the shoe all the more appealing, as it works well aesthetically, too. The upper features a combination of knit, mesh, and possibly a more sturdy material like suede for added padding and layering.

With such a wild-looking shoe, an equally wild-looking colorway is quite appropriate, and adidas is always happy to oblige. This week, we have an early look at an upcoming Crazy BYW X with a distinctly American color scheme. Beginning with a deep navy blue Primeknit upper, the toe cap features embroidered gold stripes for support, along with a handful of white stars to match. The lateral structural support piece dons a set of swirling red and white stripes to complete the American Flag-inspired look.
