adidas 4D technology has been the talk of the sneaker community this year. While releases have been few and far between, the rumors of wider availability are slowly starting to pay off with the return of the Alphaedge 4D later this month.

adidas Futurecraft technology has been the center of attention in the Three Stripes world since it was introduced in 2015. Since then, the forward-thinking production methods have scarcely seen the light of day, only releasing in a handful of consumer-ready products. However, 2018 saw major growth in the availability of Futurecraft sneakers. Now, adidas is preparing to relaunch the most widely available yet, the Alphaedge 4D. First officially released in November of 2018, the Alphaedge was the brand’s first 4D performance shoe you could actually use for serious athletic endeavors. Additionally, it was the first shoe to use Futurecraft 4D technology that was not limited to just a few hundred or thousand pairs. This makes the prospect of a relaunch later this month pretty interesting, as even more people will finally get their hands on the new technology.
